Overview

Protecting your data matters to me. This notice informs you pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR which personal data is processed on marckimmel.de, for what purpose and on what legal basis.

Server logs

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files which your browser transmits (IP address, date and time of the request, referrer, user agent, requested page). This data is processed to ensure smooth connection setup and to defend against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Retention: at most 14 days.

Reach measurement

This website counts by itself how often its pages are opened. All that is stored is which page was opened, on which calendar day, in which 20-minute window and how often, so a visit merely increments a counter. Not stored are IP address, device, location, time spent, referring page or any identifier; no cookies are set, there is no recognition across visits and no data is passed on to third parties. No link to a person can be established afterwards either, because the stored numbers contain no characteristic of individual visitors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a needs-based design of the website); there is no access to your device within the meaning of § 25 TDDDG, so no consent is required. Google Analytics 4 was previously used for reach measurement; that service has been removed without replacement and no data is transmitted there any more.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). An informal e-mail to support@marckimmel.de is sufficient.

Changes

This privacy policy may be adapted to changes in the legal situation or to changes in the services offered. The current version is always available at marckimmel.de/en/dataprivacy.
