A federal state is named, you click it on the map. Get it right and the next one comes up; get it wrong and the same one stays until you find it.

For the districts the clock decides instead: finding all 400 would be a sitting, not a game. There you can also play a single federal state.

The federal states come in two game types. Your time for all 16 is what counts, and every wrong click adds ten seconds.

• With borders: The state borders are drawn in. You still have to hit the right area, but you can see where it begins and ends.
• Without borders: Just the outline of Germany. Where the states lie is up to your memory. On each click the border you hit lights up for two seconds.

The districts come in three game modes:

• Survival: No time pressure: think as long as you like. A single wrong click ends the run right there, and what counts is how many districts you found until then.
• 1 min: One minute for everything. Every hit scores a point, every wrong click costs one, and your final score is what counts.
• Tick tack: A countdown starting at one minute: hits give you time, wrong clicks take some away, and with every hit the bonus shrinks and the penalty grows. What counts is how long you last.
